このポリシーの対象

Chrome拡張機能「チャンネル整理 for YouTube」(以下「本拡張機能」)の、ユーザーデータの取り扱いについて説明します。

データの保存場所

本拡張機能が保存するデータ(登録したタグ、チャンネル・動画の情報、メモ、タイムスタンプ、記念日、配色設定、表示言語、ダッシュボードの表示設定など)は、ブラウザのchrome.storage.local(お使いの端末内)に保存されます。これらのデータを開発者が収集・保有することはありません。

ブラウザのプロフィールを削除した場合や、拡張機能をアンインストールした場合、保存されたデータは端末から削除されます。開発者側にバックアップは存在しないため、複数端末での利用やデータの引き継ぎが必要な場合は、設定タブの「エクスポート」機能でデータをファイルに書き出し、別の端末で「インポート」してください。

外部との通信

本拡張機能は、以下の目的で外部と通信します。

• YouTube(youtube.com)への直接通信(ページ情報の取得): 現在開いているYouTubeのページ(動画・チャンネル)から、タイトルやサムネイル画像などの情報を取得するため。お使いのブラウザから直接YouTubeへ送信されます。
• YouTube公式フィード(youtube.com)への直接通信(新着動画一覧): ダッシュボードでピン留めしたチャンネルの新着動画一覧を表示するため、YouTubeが公開している公式のRSSフィードへお使いのブラウザから直接アクセスします。開発者のサーバーを経由しません。
• YouTube Data API(Google)への直接通信(配信中/配信予定の判定・チャンネルID解決、任意機能): 設定タブでご自身のYouTube Data APIキーを登録した場合のみ、配信中/配信予定の判定とチャンネルID解決のためにお使いのブラウザから直接Google(googleapis.com)へ通信します。登録したAPIキーはお使いの端末にのみ保存され、開発者のサーバーへ送信されることはありません。キーを登録しない場合、この通信自体が発生しません。
• 中継サーバー(Cloudflare Workers上で稼働)を経由する通信: 以下の2つの用途に限って、開発者が用意した中継サーバーを経由します。
  • チャンネルID解決: ピン留めしたチャンネルのうち、内部的なIDがまだ判明していないものがある場合、そのチャンネルのURL程度の情報を中継サーバーに送り、YouTube公式APIで解決します(前述のAPIキーを登録済みの場合は、この処理もお使いのブラウザから直接行われ、中継サーバーを経由しません)。解決結果は他の利用者とも共有されるキャッシュに最長25日間保存されますが、氏名・メールアドレス・Googleアカウント情報など利用者個人を特定する情報を含みません。YouTube公式APIから取得したチャンネルIDは、お使いの端末内でも30日以内に取り直すか削除します。
  • マルチビュー(複数動画の同時視聴): 選択した動画のID程度の情報が中継サーバーに送られ、YouTube公式の埋め込みプレーヤー・ライブチャットを表示するための中継ページとして機能します。
  いずれの場合も、送られる情報は表示処理のためだけに使われ、意図的に保存され続けることはありません。ただし、インターネット通信の技術的な仕組み上、通信元のIPアドレスは中継サーバー(Cloudflare)側で技術的に把握され得ます。この点はCloudflareのプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。

これら以外の外部サービスへの通信は行いません。広告の表示、アクセス解析、ユーザー行動のトラッキングも行っていません。取得した情報を第三者へ販売・提供することもありません。

利用している外部サービス

本拡張機能の一部機能は、以下の外部サービスを利用して実現しています。

• YouTube Data API(Google): ダッシュボード機能での配信状況チェック(APIキー登録時)・チャンネルID解決に利用しています。利用にあたってはGoogleプライバシーポリシーおよびYouTube利用規約が適用されます。
• YouTube公式RSSフィード: ダッシュボード機能での新着動画一覧の取得に利用しています。YouTubeが提供する公開の配信用フィードです。
• Cloudflare Workers: チャンネルID解決(APIキー未登録時)・マルチビューの中継サーバーのホスティングに利用しています。利用にあたってはCloudflareプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。

権限について

本拡張機能が要求するブラウザ権限は以下の通りです。

• storage: 上記のデータをブラウザ内に保存するため
• host_permissions: 上記の「外部との通信」(YouTube・Google・中継サーバーとの通信)を行うため

必要最小限の権限のみを要求しています。閲覧中のページの情報を読み取るのはYouTubeのページだけで、閲覧履歴の収集は行いません。

ポリシーの変更について

本拡張機能の機能追加・変更に伴い、本ポリシーの内容は予告なく変更されることがあります。変更後の内容は、この文書の更新をもって効力を持ちます(重要な変更がある場合は、最終更新日を更新します)。

なお、機能へのご要望をお伺いする目的で要望フォームを設置する場合がありますが、そのフォームではメールアドレス・氏名を含む個人情報を一切収集しません(ログインも不要な匿名フォームとします)。

Scope of this policy

This page explains how the Chrome extension "Channel Organizer for YouTube" (the "Extension") handles user data.

Where data is stored

All data the Extension saves (tags, channel/video info, memos, timestamps, anniversaries, color settings, display language, dashboard display settings, etc.) is stored locally in your browser, using chrome.storage.local. The developer never collects or holds this data.

If you clear your browser profile or uninstall the Extension, the stored data is removed from your device. The developer keeps no backup, so if you need to use the Extension across multiple devices, use the "Export" feature in the Settings tab to save your data to a file and "Import" it on another device.

External communication

The Extension communicates externally for the following purposes:

• Direct communication with YouTube (youtube.com) — page information: to read information such as the title and thumbnail from the YouTube page (video or channel) you currently have open. This goes directly from your browser to YouTube.
• Direct communication with YouTube's official feeds (youtube.com) — new videos: to show the latest videos from the channels you pin on the dashboard, your browser accesses YouTube's public RSS feeds directly. This does not go through the developer's server.
• Direct communication with the YouTube Data API (Google) — live/upcoming status and channel ID lookup, optional: only if you register your own YouTube Data API key in the Settings tab, your browser contacts Google (googleapis.com) directly to check live/upcoming status and look up channel IDs. Your API key is stored only on your device and is never sent to the developer's server. If you don't register a key, this communication doesn't happen at all.
• Communication via the relay server (running on Cloudflare Workers): the developer's relay server is used only for these two purposes:
  • Channel ID lookup: if some of your pinned channels don't have a known internal ID yet, roughly the channel's URL is sent to the relay server, which looks it up with the official YouTube API (if you've registered your own API key as described above, this also happens directly from your browser and skips the relay server). Results are kept in a cache shared with other users for up to 25 days, and contain no information that identifies you personally, such as your name, email address, or Google account. Channel IDs obtained from the official YouTube API are also refreshed or deleted on your device within 30 days.
  • Multiview (watching several videos at once): roughly the IDs of the videos you select are sent to the relay server, which serves as a relay page for displaying YouTube's official embedded player and live chat.
  In both cases, the information sent is used only to display content and is not intentionally retained. That said, as with any internet communication, your IP address may be technically visible to Cloudflare, which hosts the relay server; this is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

No other external services are contacted. The Extension does not show ads, run analytics, or track user behavior, and never sells or shares collected information with third parties.

Third-party services used

• YouTube Data API (Google): used for live/upcoming status checks (when you register an API key) and channel ID lookup on the dashboard. Use of this API is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service.
• YouTube's official RSS feeds: used to retrieve the list of new videos on the dashboard. These are public feeds provided by YouTube.
• Cloudflare Workers: hosts the relay server used for channel ID lookup (when no API key is registered) and Multiview. Use of this service is governed by the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Permissions

• storage: to save the data described above inside your browser
• host_permissions: to perform the external communication described above (with YouTube, Google, and the relay server)

The Extension requests only the minimum permissions it needs. It reads page information only from YouTube pages and never collects browsing history.

Changes to this policy

This policy may change without prior notice as the Extension's features evolve. Any changes take effect as soon as this document is revised (the "Last updated" date above is updated for significant changes).
